IPOB buried explosive devices along south east routes and 2 of their members was killed by it nigeria army

 

The nigeria army has revealed that the IPOB group allegedly buried explosives around Southeast routes.

The nigeria army said that the bomb which exploded allegedly killed two IPOB group members around the area where the explosive device was planted.

IPOB group has been accused of several attacks and disruptions across the Southeast of nigeria in the past few months.

Although the group has denied the allegations saying that they are not responsible for any attacks in the country, the security operatives have continued to clamp down on their members, commanders, and fighters in the past few months.

Their leader identified as Nnamdi kanu has been in security detention for the past few months after he was allegedly apprehended and repatriated to nigeria from Kenya.

Nnamdi kanu,the leader of IPOB has been denied bail by justice binta nyako of the federal High court sitting in Abuja.

He was asked to explain why he breached the previous bail condition given to him a few years ago.
