Atiku Hosts The Diplomats Of The South African Development Community Led By Pule Mphothwe

 The former vice president of Nigerian and the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar met with the Diplomats from the South African Development Community led by Pule Mphothwe 

Atiku Abubakar who met Pule Mphothwe and his team on Tuesday disclosed that they had good discussion bordering on possibilities of improved economic relations between Nigeria, West Africa and countries of the Southern African blocs 

Atiku Abubakar statement reads:  "It was my pleasure to receive Diplomats from the South African Development Community, led by Amb. Pule Mphothwe of Botswana, on a courtesy call this afternoon 

"We had good discussions bordering on possibilities of improved economic relations between Nigeria, West Africa, and countries of the Southern African blocs. -AA 

Atiku Abubakar is a Nigerian politician and businessman who served as the vice president of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007 during the presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. He ran as governor of Adamawa State in 1990, 1997 and later, in 1998, being elected before becoming Olusegun Obasanjo's running mate during the 1999 presidential election and re-elected in 2003
