The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri has disclosed that his house in his hometown, Sampou Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area has been affected by the ravaged flood going on across the country
Douye Diri on October 22, 2022, also express his sincerest sympathy to all those affected by the flood across the 8 Local Government Area in the State as he urged them to keep strong
Douye Diri statement reads:
"My hometown, Sampou in Kolokuma/Opokuma LGA today. My house and other houses still under the water. I sympathise with all those affected across our 8 LGAs. I observed that the flood level is going down.
"Let's keep strong! @MBuhari @ProfOsinbajo @nemanigeria
Douye Diri is a business and Nigerian politician and Governor of Bayelsa State. He was the senator representing Bayelsa Central senatorial district of Bayelsa state at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly. He is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
