Femi Gbajabiamila On Friday, October 7, who had discussions with president Muhammadu Buhari on the ongoing strike disclosed that the meeting was very positive and that Nigerians should wait to hear from the president directly
Asuu started its ongoing strike on February 14, 2022, due to Federal Government failure to release revitalization funds for universities and failure to deploy the University Transparency Accountability System for the payment of salaries and allowances lecturers

"The Leadership of the @HouseNGR led by Speaker @femigbaja conclude discussions with President @MBuhari on the ongoing ASUU Strike. The Speaker says the meeting was very positive and Nigerians should wait to hear from the president directly.
