Sanwo Olu statement reads: "Today, I swore in Hon. Abdul-Ganiyu Obasa as the Chairman of Agege Local Government. He had been acting in this role following the resignation of the former chairman, Tunde Azeez, due to health reasons
"I also swore in Mrs. Toyin Anjous-Ademuyiwa as Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Office of Transformation, Creativity and Innovation
"In Lagos, public office is about service. We appoint people we trust to be capable, dependable, and committed to putting the needs of the people first
"Leadership in our state, whether in politics or the civil service, must reflect the will of the people and deliver real results. That is the standard we owe Lagosians
"To those sworn in today, the offices you now hold come with serious responsibility. Our residents expect hard work, integrity, and visible impact, and anything less is unacceptable
"To our public servants and political leaders, dedication still counts. Merit still matters. Excellence is recognised in Lagos, and it will always be encouraged.
