Peter Obi statement reads: "Investing in Education and Skills for a Stronger Nigeria
"I had the privilege of visiting ADON institutions yesterday and donated a total of ₦15 million to enhance health and technical education. This includes ₦10 million for the ADON College of Health Technology in Nnewi and ₦5 million for the ADON Vocational and Technical Academy in Ozubulu. Both of these institutions are part of the missionary initiative of the Anglican Diocese of Nnewi, which guides our youth toward productive paths and equips them with valuable skills.
"The ADON College of Health Technology in Nnewi trains skilled health professionals, while the ADON Vocational and Technical Academy empowers local youth with technical and vocational skills, facilitating their transition into productive careers.
"These institutions address critical gaps in education and skill development, which are essential for the growth of our communities. My support for both institutions stems from the belief that education and skill development are the foundation for a productive and sustainable Nigeria. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
