Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has revealed that his mother constantly reminded him from childhood that he was chosen by God, helping him overcome feelings of inferiority
Speaking about his personal journey, the singer said he struggled with an inferiority complex while growing up, but his mother's words gave him the confidence to believe in himself and pursue his dreams
Skales made this disclosure via his twitter handle on Saturday
Skales statement reads: "My mama told me from when I was a child and I had inferiority complex that I have been chosen by God … thank you for all your prayers on earth and in the afterlife … continue to rest in peace mama John … you are my star forever and I will continue to put your face on everything … you will never be forgotten
