The president of Nigerian, Muhammadu Buhari has granted National Honour to deputy senate president, Ovie Omo-Agege for his immense contribution to lawmaking in the country
Muhammadu Buhari awarded the National Honour of the commander of the order of the Federal Republic (CFR) to Ovie Omo-Agege In a statement Ovie Omo-Agege released: "BUHARI CONFERS NATIONAL HONOUR ON OMO-AGEGE
"For his immense contribution to lawmaking, oversight and representation, President Muhammadu Buhari has awarded the national honour of the Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) on the Deputy president of the senate.
"According to the letter conveying the national award to Senator Omo-Agege, the President approved the honour to him in the exercise of his power as enshrined in the National Honour Act No 5 of 1964.
Ovie Omo-Agege is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who is currently the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate. He is senator representing the Delta State Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian senate
