The former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has visited the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde 

Peter Obi who visited the Governor at Ibadan the State Capital revealed that his visit is part of his consultation ahead of the 2023 general elections 

Peter Obi also revealed that they had frank and constructive discussions 

Peter Obi statement reads: "I was at Ibadan, and I visited my brother and friend, He @seyiamakinde, the Governor of Oyo State as part of my consultations ahead of the 2023 general elections. We had very frank and constructive discussions. -PO 

Seyi Makinde is a Nigerian businessman, politician and who has served as Governor of Oyo State since 29 May 2019. He is an engineer and a subject matter expert on fluid and gas metering. He is the group managing director of Makon Group Limited an indigenous oil and gas company in Nigeria
